This page is a collection of short videos created to document some of the processes we use in Revit. Although initially intended to be used internally we are publishing them just in case they may be helpful to others.
Site pad tips 01
In this short video Jeff goes over a couple of items related to site pads, window wells and exterior finishes. We have found that using a separately defined wall for the exterior finish gives us a nice clean and more realistic look in our sections. This is especially true if we later model the trusses during out verification process. This leads to some missing cut lines in our elevations and 3D views if the site pad is not defined correctly. We have also found it helpful to create pads for window wells individually and on their own level. This creates maximum flexibility for those projects we suspect may go through multiple changes.
We will be adding more hints and tips in the future.
